Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking a part time Pathology Specimen Collector to work as part of the Patient Services Team in St George.You will be required to record patient information, attend to the well-being of patients, receive account payments and liaise with referrers and ancillary services.
Candidates with pathology specimen collection or venepuncture experience will be held in high regard, although this is definitely not essential. Please note that Sullivan Nicolaides is an accredited Registered Training Organisation, and upon completion of training, collectors receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection.
You will be available to work shifts between 7.30am and 1.00pm Monday - Friday, totalling 60 hours a fortnight. Sharing of these hours will be considered, so please mention your ideal hours in your application.
Staff members will be given a chance to develop their skills through ongoing training, and provides an avenue for career development and advancement.
An attractive hourly rate, circa $17.20, will be offered to the successful applicant.
