• 1 Permanent Position based at the Townsville Correctional Centre
• Total Remuneration up to $60,189 p.a. (Including superannuation, allowances and leave loading)

QBuild is seeking an Electrician to work on planned and unplanned maintenance work at the Townsville Correctional Centre.

To be successful for this position you will possess a high level of client service skills and have the ability to work autonomously.  Possession of a Current Electrical License, current Workplace Health and Safety Blue Card and current cardio-pulmonary resuscitation certificate are essential. You will have an understanding and the ability to implement quality control techniques, ability to exercise discretion, provide guidance and assistance to tradespersons, apprentices and trainees and an understanding of AS3000 and electrical safety requirements.

Example of work that may be required are:

• Install, repair, maintain, test, commission and/or fault find in relation to electrical and engineering services.
• Work on complex or intricate circuitry involving examining, diagnosing and modifying systems comprising inter-connected circuits.
