Employment Office Gives Arrow Tips

Rapidly growing coal seam gas company Arrow Energy has recently signed an exciting 24 month contract with recruitment advertising solutions provider Employment Office.

The last two years has seen the organisation expand from a staff of 40 to 240, and Mike Furminger, Arrow Energy HR General Manager, says Employment Office’s role has been crucial in the process.

“Our company is growing very rapidly and recruiting staff to keep up with our growth has been difficult,” he said.

“In the past we would have had to do this by ourselves but Employment Office’s involvement has helped us to achieve our recruitment goals, and their service is thorough and fast.”

In order to meet their quickly increasing recruitment needs, Arrow Energy have taken advantage of a range of Employment Office’s strategic advertising features, such as a branded online portal of vacancies linked to their own website, strategically placed and designed print and online ads, a pre-screening questionnaire for each role and the innovative model of flat fees per campaign, regardless of the number of candidates employed.

Within the highly competitive mining industry, this approach has proven extremely successful for Arrow Energy, taking on 40 new staff in the past six weeks.
